Szumski signed contract with Legia

According to Legia’s official website, Warsaw team’s foster child Jakub Szumski signed a new contract with our club. Due to the signed agreement the 18-year-old goalkeeper has bound himself with Legia for the next 4.5 years. The player has been part of Warsaw club’s senior squad since the beginning of the autumn round but he appears in Young Legia’s matches for now.
Legia’s goalkeepers’ coach Krzysztof Dowhań has high hopes of the footballer. “I don’t want to praise him too much but he’s got a great potential. He’s definitely Legia’s future” – thinks Dowhań. Szumski is Warsaw club’s player since the year 2000. When he came to Łazienkowska, he was only eight years old.
