In the first game (out of total seven) of the Ekstraklasa champion group Legia’s footballers defeated 2-0 Zawisza Bydgoszcz at Łazienkowska on Saturday evening. The first half of the match didn’t seem to be really interesting. Both teams were trying to attack their rivals’ goal but with no luck.

The situation changed a bit when the second half started. Though Legia was trying to find the way to defeat its opponents’ goalkeeper, its players had problems with hit precision. That is why we had to wait for the first goal until the 70th minute of the game. Tomasz Jodłowiec passed the ball to unwatched Michał Żyro, who easily defeated Zawisza’s Wojciech Kaczmarek. Five minutes before the end of the match Legia’s coach decided to make the first substitution. Ondrej Duda was replaced by Marek Saganowski, who didn’t play in the first team for several months due to his health problems. He really got off to a flying start because just after several seconds he defeated Zawisza’s goalkeeper for the second time. Legia’s supporters who adore the player blew up with joy.
The score didn’t change and Legia deservedly won 2-0 with their rivals from Bydgoszcz.
