1st fixture: Śląsk 1-4 Legia
In the first game of the season 2015/2016 Legia Warsaw outclassed 4-1 Śląsk in Wrocław on Sunday evening. Still, the first goal was struck by the team from Wrocław. Its author was Flávio Paixão, who scored a very nice header. Few minutes later Legia equalised thanks to Dominik Furman, who properly executed a free kick. The first half finished with a 1-1 draw.
After the break these were Legia’s players who were prevailing over their rivals on the pitch. In the 54th minute Tomasz Jodłowiec struck the second goal for his team. After a corner kick, he jumped up in the penalty area and scored a beautiful header. More than a quarter later, Legia was leading 3-1. Dominik Furman passed the ball to Nemanja Nikolić, who defeated Śląsk’s goalkeeper with a strong kick. The same footballer scored the final goal for his team almost twenty minutes later. The player of the Hungarian national team received a nice pass from Michał Kucharczyk and managed to score a nice header.
Eventually, Legia won 4-1 in Wrocław.
