Widzew 0-1 Legia
Footballers of Legia managed to win 1-0 their match against Widzew in Łódź thanks to Ivica Vrdoljak’s goal in the 16th minute of the first half. Warsaw team could defeat its rivals at least 3-0, but firstly the referee didn’t recognize unfairly a foul on Rzeźniczak after which there should have been a penalty for Legia and secondly he didn’t recognize a properly scored goal by Michał Kucharczyk.
There were about 9.600 people in the stands. During the game some supporters of both Legia and Widzew provoked clashes with the police.
We encourage you to see two photo-reports from the game: the first one prepared by Mishka and the second one prepared by Hagi.
