Korona Kielce 1-4 Legia

Hugollek - Wiadomość archiwalna

Legia’s players managed to win the second match in a row. This time footballers of Warsaw defeated 4-1 Korona in Kielce on Friday evening. After the end of the first half Legia was leading 2-1 thanks to Michał Kucharczyk’s and Ivica Vrdoljak’s goals. The second mentioned player properly executed a penalty which was ordered by the referee who saw that Korona’s Zbigniew Małkowski had fouled Legia’s Miroslav Radović. The goalkeeper from Kielce was punished with a red card and had to leave the pitch. We encourage you to see 68 photos from the match taken by Mishka.
After the break Warsaw team played better and better. This resulted in the next two goals which were stroke by Legia’s players. At first former Legia’s exile Maciej Iwański defeated Radosław Cierzniak and eventually Miroslav Radović scored his goal few minutes before the end of the game.
Warsaw supporters weren’t present in the stands due to their inappropriate behaviour during the away match against Widzew in Łódź a week ago.
