After the end of the challenge’s first half which was irrevocably predominated by Legia’s players there was a goalless draw on the scoreboard.
Eight minutes after the break Górnik’s Sikorski managed to defeat Warsaw goalkeeper Machnowskij. What’s surprising is the fact that footballers from the capital of Poland controlled the main course of the game. Unfortunately, the actions they generated were unsuccessful.
Legia’s supporters were losing hope and began to reconcile themselves to Górnik’s win when suddenly Miroslav Radović defeated the goalkeeper from Zabrze Stachowiak. The stands simply exploded. Fans were happy that their team managed to equalise. Their emotions didn’t fully descend and they had to explode for the second time. This time thanks to Bruno Mezenga who scored the second goal for Legia in the 90th minute of the game.
Eventually, the match finished with a 2-1 result to Warsaw team’s advantage.
