Friendly: Aris Limassol 1-3 Legia

Warsaw footballers won their last friendly match in Cyprus on Wednesday. They defeated 3-1 the hardest opponents of their preparatory camp – Aris Limassol’s players. After the end of the first half these were Cypriot footballers who were leading 1-0. One of their players was fouled in the penalty area in the 21st minute of the game and Łukasz Sosin turned this foul into a goal a minute later. Maciej Skorża decided to make the first change a few minutes before the break – Danijel Ljuboja, who grumbled about an injury, was replaced by Michał Żyro. Then in the break Daisuke Matsui and Miroslav Radović were substituted by Rafał Wolski and Michał Kucharczyk.
Jakub Wawrzyniak equalised with a header in the 59th minute of the match. The second goal was scored by Michał Żyro and the final one was struck by the same player who properly executed a penalty.

Legia’s footballers supposed to play a friendly game against FC Lokomotiv Moscow on Friday but due to the fact that Russians had then a day off, Warsaw players had to take part in an inner game.
