Polish Cup final (first leg): Śląsk 0-2 Legia
In the first leg of the Polish Cup final Legia’s footballers defeated 2-0 their opponents in Wrocław on Thursday evening. Both goals were scored by Marek Saganowski in the first half of the match. It’s worth mentioning that in Legia’s lineup there were a few players who don’t usually have many occasions to play regularly in the first team. Nevertheless, they were able to win with Śląsk.
There were 38.000 people gathered in the stands including 2.000 visitors from Warsaw.
Moreover, both Śląsk’s and Legia’s supporters presented nice shows in the stands and they lit a lot of flares.
The return match takes place on 8th May at 8.30 p.m. local time at Łazienkowska.
