Legend of Warsaw club, Lucjan Brychczy, celebrated his 75th birthday on Saturday. He was born in Silesia where he started his adventure with football. He's bound up with Legia since 1954 – first as a player, then as a coach. He appeared in Legia in the years 1954-1972 in 452 matches. He managed to score 227 goals what will probably remain an unequalled record. He won four times the Polish championship (1955, 1956, 1969, 1970) and four times the Polish Cup (1955, 1956, 1964, 1966). He played in many games for the Polish national team. He continues to work as a member of Legia's coaching staff.
We wish Mr. Brychczy all the best and we hope that he'll work in Legia for the next 100 years!
