Urban: This match hurts...

Jan Urban (Legia's coach): This defeat hurts, because we had lots of situations to score goals. We lost a goal very quickly. And this is due to inappropriate cover and unnecessary corner. The team reacted properly and we managed to equalise very quickly. Then we were able to see fight on the pitch. I can't pick at my footballers. They fought to the end. However, we presented lack of effectiveness. The second lost goal was a stupid mistake which we unfortunately had to pay a high price for.
When there was 2-2 draw, we decided to put all our eggs in one basket. There were some situations and the team proved that it's able to play very nice football.
We are aware of the fact that we dropped out of the European games, but we can only have a grudge against ourselves. We didn't keep calm. However, I cannot agree with the opinion that we passed up the match at the moment when we were leading. We were fighting to the last second. There was surely no loosening. Unfortunately, the rival managed to score goals too easily. We had a great chance to win the promotion to the next stage. Unluckily, we wasted it, again.
