Friendly: Legia 0-1 Hajduk Split
Legia was defeated 1-0 by Hajduk Split in the last friendly match of its preparatory camp in Mijas (Spain). The only goal was scored by Ahmad Sharbin, who properly executed a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. Warsaw team’s coach, Jan Urban, decided that his best players would appear on the pitch. That’s why people who gathered near the stadium were able to see those footballers whom Legia’s supporters used to watch in the autumn round. Unfortunately, there was no attacker on the field, because Bartłomiej Grzelak is ill, and Takesure Chinyama and Marcin Mięciel suffered injuries.
We encourage you to see 40 photos from the game taken by Mishka.
This lost match means that footballers of Legia weren’t able to win any of four played games. Moreover, they only managed to strike one goal by losing six.
The game lasted 80 minutes (2 x 40 min.).
The match was watched by several Hajduk’s fans who galvanised their players the whole game, they hoisted some flags and even lighted some flares.
Legia’s players are coming back to Warsaw tomorrow.
