Legia Warszawa 2-1 Ruch Chorzów

Although Legia's players managed to win 2-1 the second leg of the Polish Cup's quarterfinal against Ruch, this is the team from Chorzów which has been promoted to the semifinal. Due to Warsaw team's defeat (0-1) last Tuesday, Ruch Chorzów managed to win the competition on away goals.

After 90 minutes of the game Warsaw footballers were leading 1-0. That’s why there had to be extra-time. In the 108th minute, thanks to Łukasz Janoszka's goal, Ruch equalised. Legia's Tomasz Jarzębowski managed however to strike the second goal for Warsaw team, but this happened unfortunately in the last minute of the match. There has been no time for more goals and thus Legia has been knocked out of the Polish Cup.
