Sikora and Rengifo won’t strengthen Legia

Hugollek - Wiadomość archiwalna

There have recently been some rumours about Adrian Sikora’s possible transfer to Legia. APOEL F.C.’s (Greek: ΑΠΟΕΛ Ποδόσφαιρο) 30-year-old player hasn’t been able to appear in any matches due to an injury this season. Regarding to Warsaw club’s board’s pronouncement that this is possible they would gain a player from Cypriot league, media began speculating that this is Sikora who Legia wants to buy. Nevertheless, the footballer denied these speculations.

There also was a piece of information that ex-Lech’s player Hernan Rengifo might come to Warsaw to join Legia. However, according to “Przegląd Sportowy”, the Peruvian doesn’t want to return to Poland.

To Legia’s second preparatory camp which takes place in Spain should come four of five players that Warsaw club’s coaching staff is going to watch very closely. Among them there should be Argentinian Tobías Albarracín who has recently appeared in Bolivian Club Universitario de Sucre. The player was born in December 1984 and can play either as a defender or as a defensive midfielder.
