Karpin: Only a victory will be satisfying
Today, Legia will face Spartak in the play-off phase of the Europa League. The team from Moscow will try and keep up their good form, which they have shown in the Russian Premier League. "We are playing against Legia after pretty good league matches. However, we can not let that blind us. We have come to Warsaw with a positive mindset, and I think that everything will be good" - said Valery Karpin.
The Russians came to Warsaw only for one thing - victory. Before the second match at home, they want to be in a comfortable position. "We want to have the best possible result. Only a victory will be satisfying. We will not play to tie. We want to win, and play the second match at home without any nervousness".
Spartak’s new player, Emmanuel Emenike came with the team to Warsaw, but he will most likely not play in the first squad. "He came with us, but he is not 100% ready to play".
