The vice-president of Warsaw, Jacek Wojciechowicz, Legia's chairman, Leszek Miklas and Polimex-Mostostal's president, Konrad Jaskóła, screwed on the first seats at the new "Żyleta" stand which is parallel to Łazienkowska Street. The new seats are resistant to bad weather conditions, they don't burn out easily and are recyclable.

One of the undertakings connected with building of Legia's new stadium – training field with artificial grass – comes to an end. For the last two weeks special machines have been systematically laying down special layers of ground, on which there's artificial grass. It was strewed with rubber granulate. Moreover, goals have been installed. There will be also artificial lighting. As yet, two of four lighting masts have been installed. We encourage you to see 28 photos taken by Raffi.

The first girder has been installed at Łazienkowska on Wednesday. This huge element will be propping the roof of the new stadium in the future. It’s supported by a special construction which is attached to the lower stand which fans were able to see during the match against Broendby Copenhagen. Erection of the first girder lasted few hours. Works were observed by ITI’s chairman, Mariusz Walter.

Works connected with side pitches are at advanced level. The one by Myśliwiecka street is practically ready. Footballers of Young Legia will be able to train on the artificial grass. Soon this will be also possible to train there in the evenings due to the artificial lighting. One of the masts has been recently installed. Admittedly, there are lamps missing now, but those will be shortly taken from the floodlights of the main field which were dismantled at the end of last year. Legia's stadium changes every day. Fans who were present in the stands during the Sunday match against Zagłębie Lubin must have seen the progress of building. The railing has been partly taken apart. On the Northern stand (the one near Łazienkowska street) there have been some concrete foundations of the lower (in the entirety) and the upper (partially) stand installed.

In the third fixture Legia plays match against Cracovia Cracow at Łazienkowska. However, the question is where the return match is going to take place. Probably at Polonia Bytom’s stadium at Olimpijska. Building of new Cracovia’s stadium begins this month and that’s why Cracow club will have to look for a place to play matches as host. At first, stadiums of Hutnik Cracow and Zagłębie Sosnowiec were taken into consideration, but this is well known now that Cracovia won’t be play there.

There is another huge crane at Łazienkowska since yesterday. It should be used to lay down the locks. The second of the biggest cranes, in contrary to the first one, moves on wheels and not on caterpillar tracks. It started its work in the corner between the "Łuk od Łazienkowskiej" and the "Trybuna Kryta" yesterday. There were the first upper locks installed. Locks are also installed on the other side of the "Łuk" – in the North-East corner. In front of the North stand there are some works performed connected with rooms which will be under the lower stand. We encourage you to see 18 photos taken by Woytek.

We could admire the building-site from the inside and from all directions today. That's why we are able to show you how the processes of Eastern lower stand's building look like. In the Northern part of this stand (between the stand and the fence) works an excavator. From the Southern side of the stand the reinforcements are installed. Between the locks scaffoldings emerge. Those are also installed on the Southern stand.

After Saturday's game against Polonia Bytom, Legia is going to participate in the European games (either in the UEFA Champions League or in the UEFA Europa League). If Warsaw club wins the Polish trophy, it'll start its football adventure from the second qualifying round of the Champions League on 14th-15th July and on 21st-22nd July. If it promotes to the Europa League from the second position, it'll play games on 16th and on 23rd July. If Legia is third after the season, it’ll have to start the rivalry from the first qualifying round. Those games are scheduled for 2nd and 9th July. It is common knowledge that after the current season the process of remodeling the pitch begins. The field will be moved a few metres to the old "Żyleta" stand.
