One of the undertakings connected with building of Legia's new stadium – training field with artificial grass – comes to an end. For the last two weeks special machines have been systematically laying down special layers of ground, on which there's artificial grass. It was strewed with rubber granulate. In the first match of the new season 2009/2010 Legia managed to defeat Zagłębie Lubin at Łazienkowska 4-0. However, it didn't seem at first that Legia was about to beat the team from Lubin so painfully. After the first half Warsaw footballers were leading only 1-0 after Adrian Paluchowski's goal in the 32nd minute.
