Polish Cup (2nd leg): Legia 2-1 Arka

In the second leg of Polish Cup’s semifinal Legia managed to defeat 2-1 Arka’s footballers. The first goal was scored by Nacho Novo in the 23rd minute of the game. Moreover, this has been the first time as the player struck a goal for Legia. Arka’s Piotr Kuklis equalised six minutes after the break. The final winning goal for Warsaw team scored Janusz Gol a minute before the end of the second half.

There were more than 14.000 people in the stands.
Eventually, the two-legged tie was won 4-2 by Legia and so the team from Warsaw was promoted to Polish Cup’s final. The last match of the competition takes place on 24th April in Kielce. Legia will compete then with Ruch Chorzów.
