Legia wants to loan Hajduk’s player

Hugollek - Wiadomość archiwalna

Legia is very close to loan HNK Hajduk Split’s (Croatian: Hrvatski nogometni klub Hajduk Split) footballer Jurica Buljat. Negotations between both interested clubs began two weeks ago. Warsaw club’s board managed to reduce player’s price from 1.5 million to 750.000 euro. However, at first Legia would loan Croatian national footballer for six months for 75.000 euro. The team from the capital of Poland would have to pay the rest of money in the summer.

Buljat who is central back has already settled the terms of his individual contract. He would earn 200.000 euro a year. “The most important fact is that he wants to play in Legia and that the terms of the negotiated contract and his individual contract do not exceed Polish club’s money capabilities. Now it’s time for Warsaw club’s move” – said footballer’s agent Ryszard Szuster.

The decision regarding Buljat should be made at the beginning of next week. Legia’s board admits that it has to find a good central back in the winter break because Dickson Choto is still recovering after a serious injury. Croatian has been Hajduk’s footballer for six years. Earlier, he appeared in NK Zadar (Croatian: Nogometni klub Zadar) for two years. 24-year-old defender who is 188cm high has appeared in 121 matches of Croatian league (6 goals) and in 15 European games (1 goal) so far. Moreover, he has played twice for Croatian national team. His biggest success was winning the Croatian Cup last season.
